Norris says he’s ‘not leaving at Verstappen’s level’
In a recent interview, McLaren driver Lando Norris has made it clear that he does not believe he is on the same level as Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
Despite a strong start to the Formula 1 season, Norris acknowledges the dominance of Verstappen and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in the championship race.
“I have a lot of respect for Max and what he has achieved in his career so far,” Norris said. “I am still learning and growing as a driver, and I know I have a lot of work to do to reach his level.”
Norris, who has been impressing fans and pundits with his performances this season, is determined to continue improving and eventually challenge for race wins and championships.
“I am focused on my own journey and development as a driver,” Norris added. “I know that I have the potential to achieve great things in Formula 1, and I am working hard every day to make that a reality.”
The young British driver’s comments have garnered attention from the F1 community, with many praising his humility and dedication to his craft.
As Norris continues to impress on the track, fans are eagerly watching his progress and eagerly anticipate what the future holds for this rising star in Formula 1.
While Norris may not yet be at Verstappen’s level, his determination and talent suggest that he could soon be a force to be reckoned with in the world of motorsport.
